Archaelogical Area with the
Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of
Hieron II and the
Paradiso
Latomies with the “Dionysius Ear”. Following, visit
of Ortigia Island with the
Arethusa’s fountain, the Temple
of Apollo and the Cathedral. Lunch (optional) and free time
for a facultative visit to the Jewish Baths (Mikvah).

visit the Valley of the Temples (Juno, Concordia, Hercules,
Olympian Zeus, Castor and Pollux).
After lunch (optional), departure to Piazza
Armerina and visit of the Roman
“Villa del Casale” with its
famous mosaics.
Return to the Hotel is around 7.00 pm.

Palermo, discover the most important Arab-Norman monuments
such as the Martorana church,
the Cathedral, the Quattro Canti,
Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, including a touch of local
colour with the typical market “il
Capo”. Otherwise, optional visit of
Monreale. After lunch (optional), sightseeing by bus
and departure to Cefalů. Visit
of the historical centre with the Cathedral. Entry fees
extra.

Silvestri’s Craters. Time for trekking. Optional
ascent to the area of the main crater with cable car and

Alcantara Gorges for a short
stop and afterwards visit to the mediaeval town of
Randazzo. Then, you will proceed
by bus via Adrano up to
rifugio
Sapienza south side of mount Etna 1900 metres. Ascent
to the main crater area (depends on weather conditions),
trekking and lunch are optional.

Arriving to 1800 mt Etna’s
station, ascent by jeep to the proximity of the crater area.
Stop until sunset and return. Time for dinner in a local
restaurant at 1800 mt. Warm
clothes are recommended and they are rentable on site with
an extra charge. Please note that departure time will be
modified during the season depending on sunset time.
Return to the Hotel
is around
midnight.

Taormina to Alcantara Gorges by bus for a short stop. Then

Departure to Etna Nord to 1800 mt.
Time for lunch, trekking or reaching the craters by jeep
(optional).
Return to the Hotel in Giardini
Naxos is scheduled around 5.00 pm

Milazzo by boat to the island of
Lipari. Free time for visiting the old town. Sailing around
the island we will visit the “Faraglioni”
rocks, the “Horse Cave” and the pumice store quarry.
Arriving in Vulcano you will
have the chance to swim in the warm
sulphureous sea water, enjoying the beach and having
lunch.
Return to the Hotel in Giardini
Naxos around 7.00 pm

PANAREA AND STROMBOLI(Tuesday,
Thursday and Sunday)
Departure from Hotel Palladio is at 10.00 am.
From Milazzo by boat to
Panarea. Free time on the island
for visiting the typical village, enjoying the beach and
having lunch (optional). Transfer by boat to Stromboli where
you will stop until sunset. A light dinner will be served on
board. Finally visit of the “Sciara
del Fuoco” by night for admiring
the volcano’s activity from the sea.
Return to Taormina is scheduled around midnight. Please note
that departure time will be modified during the season
depending on sunset time. . Return
to the Hotel is
around
midnight.
